kelley Romanowski, cfsp, ctbs

Kelley obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 2001 and is a Minnesota licensed Mortician. She worked in Minnesota's capital city for a busy family-owned corporation for just over 11 years.

 

She transitioned her career to serving funeral directors that were caring for donors. Kelley advocated for the funeral director's needs, offered on-site embalming and restoration assistance, and education as a Funeral Services Liaison and Donor Services Coordinator at an organ procurement organization for 12 years.

In the spring of 2020, Kelley became a Teaching Specialist with the program of Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota. Kelley became a Certified Funeral Service Practicioner in 2021 and continues to identify educational opportunities to enhance her practice. In addition to instructing, she also performs trade work and specializes in donor embalming and trauma reconstruction.
